Coin-Toss Follow Up
The Seahawks lost their coin-toss showdown with the Chiefs earlier today and will be drafting 12th overall in Aprils NFL draft.

Seahawks/Chiefs coin-toss Friday
The 11th pick of this years NFL draft is literally “up in the air”. This Friday morning league officials and representatives of the Seahawks and Chiefs will conduct a coin-flip to determine the 11th and 12th picks of the upcoming draft.
The NFL even designed a special coin to be used for the coin-toss, with the Kansas City Chiefs on one side, and the Seattle Seahawks on the other.
Both the Seahawks and Chiefs finished the 2011 regular season with identical records of 7-9 and the same strength of schedules, however, because the teams do not play in the same conference, a coin toss is used to determine draft position… Continue reading
Cortez Kennedy elected to the Hall of Fame
"Brett, nice to see you. Don't worry, I'll come back to say hello again."
“Tez”, as he is fondly remembered by fans in the Pacific Northwest, received his sports highest honor today after being voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame by the selection committee. This was Cortez Kennedy’s 4th consecutive year as a finalist for induction into the Hall and now joins former Seahawks great Steve Largent as the only two members of the Hall of Fame to be inducted as Seahawks. Kennedy was voted in alongside former NFL greats Chris Doleman, Willie Roaf, Curtis Martin, Dermontti Dawson, and senior selection Jack Butler.
