Domestic Violence redux! Seahawks linebacker Leroy Hill arrested

I don’t think Leroy Hill be dressing in Seahawk blue this coming season, I think orange may be more his color…

Seahawks linebacker Leroy Hill was arrested Tuesday for domestic violence in Issaquah, Washington.

The arrest was first reported by KOMO-TV, and reports are saying that Hill has not been formally charged yet.

The arrest was for two domestic violence infractions. Hill was arrested for unlawful imprisonment and fourth degree assault. The unlawful imprisonment is a class C felony charge in Washington State, and a fourth degree assault is a gross misdemeanor. Both infractions will add up to about five years in jail, and a fine of up to $10,000 if he is actually convicted.

This marks the second time in four years that Hill has been arrested for a domestic violence related issue. In 2010 he was investigated for domestic violence in regards to his girlfriend, but this charge was eventually dropped after Hill agreed to enter a treatment program.

As you may remember, Hill also has two marijuana-related infractions. In Atlanta, he fell asleep in his car at a stop light, and just last year in February he had a marijuana charge that was later dropped. The last charge though was dropped because there was no true evidence the paraphernalia was owned by, Hill.

Hill had a decent season with the Seahawks, as he recorded 47 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and a forced fumble.

Hill is going to be a free agent, congratulations…you just punched your way out of Seattle. Good riddance.
