Seattle Mariners Roster Primer

In light of a cancelled World Series game, we are going to release this piece a couple days early. The following  table is a list of guys that the Mariners have on their roster, as well as the letters “FA” in positions they may look to add a free agent to start in 2012.

Players who are represented as “Of the future” figure to be a potential regular at that position in the next three years if they continue on their present development path.

Over the next few months we will look at free agent candidates, trade candidates, non-tender candidates, development candidates, regression candidates, and anything else we come up with between now and then.

It will all kick off with our detailed breakdown of the prospects of Prince Fielder becoming a Mariner upon completion of the World Series, so stay tuned.
